Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Voyaggora AI ("Voyaggora", "we", "us") collects when you use voyaggora.com and our AI travel concierge, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Concierge chat record (optional). Your chat with the concierge is not stored by us unless you click “Yes, save it” in the chat. If you do, we keep the messages of that conversation, the time of each message, the page you were on, your language, your approximate country (from your connection; we do not store your IP address) and a note of the live data (prices, tours, events, advisories) each answer was based on, under a reference code shown to you in the chat (for example VG-7K2M9QX4). We use this record so that you can reopen the conversation later (by entering the code in the chat on any device, or from a link we email you), to follow up on your request, to check what was said if you or a travel partner raise a question about it, and to improve the concierge. Anyone who has the code can read that conversation, so keep it private; we never show it to anyone else. Card numbers and similar long numbers are removed before storing. The record is deleted automatically 12 months after the conversation, or earlier if you ask (email support@voyaggora.com with your reference code). You can switch saving off at any time from the same place in the chat; messages saved before that stay until deleted. If you do not click “Yes”, the conversation stays only in your browser for the current visit. In both cases your messages are sent to Anthropic to generate the reply (section 3).
- What you tell our concierge. Messages you type or speak, such as destinations, dates, budget and preferences.
- Trip requests. If you send a request through the form on our site (for a cruise, group trip, custom journey or hotel stay), we collect what you enter: your name, email address, optional phone number and the trip details you share.
- Weekly Brief sign-up. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address, the page you signed up on, the date, time and wording of your consent, your approximate country (from your connection) and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, which we use only to prevent abuse. We ask for nothing else. Your subscription starts only after you click the confirmation link we email you. Once you confirm, your email address is also stored with our email provider, MailerLite, which sends the Brief.
- Travel alert emails. If you ask for email alerts for a country on our Travel Live pages, we collect your email address, the country, the date, time and wording of your consent, and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, which we use only to prevent abuse. Your subscription starts only after you click the confirmation link we email you. We store this on our own web server and send the alerts ourselves; it is not shared with an email marketing provider. Every alert email has an unsubscribe link.
- Booking and traveler details. If you book through us, we collect the details needed to complete the booking: names, date of birth, contact details, and, where an airline requires it, passport information. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure payment page; we never see or store your full card number.
- Account information. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us (we never see your Google password). If you sign in with an email code, we store your email address; we never ask you to create a password. We also store the trips and conversations that are saved to your account while you are signed in.
- Technical information. Basic device and browser information, pages visited and approximate location derived from your IP address, collected by us and by the partner tools embedded on our pages. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused service that counts visits and page views without using cookies and without tracking individual visitors across websites. We also count clicks on partner links and a few actions (for example sending a message to the concierge), recording only which link or action, on which page, from which kind of source, and whether it was a phone or a computer. This count is kept by us, is not linked to your name, and does not store your IP address or set a cookie.
2. How we use information
- To answer your questions, build itineraries and recommend travel options.
- To reply to the trip requests you send us and to email you a confirmation.
- To send you the Voyaggora Weekly Brief and occasional travel offers, if you subscribed. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to us at any time.
- To email you alerts about the country you chose (advisory changes, weather warnings, embassy alerts, health notices), if you subscribed. At most one email every 30 minutes, with an unsubscribe link in every email.
- To process payments and complete bookings you request, and to send confirmations and service messages.
- To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and fix problems.
- To improve the site and our recommendations.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to run the service:
- Stripe processes payments.
- Google provides the optional "Sign in with Google" service, under Google's own privacy policy.
- Google Translate is loaded only if you choose a language other than English from the language menu. Google then translates the page in your browser and may set a cookie named googtrans; your choice is also remembered in your browser (local storage). Nothing is loaded from Google Translate if you stay on English.
- Resend, our email delivery provider, sends the one-time sign-in codes you request, the emails about your trip requests, and the confirmation and welcome emails if you subscribe to the Weekly Brief.
- MailerLite stores the Weekly Brief subscriber list after you confirm, sends the Weekly Brief, and handles its unsubscribe links. It processes your email address on our behalf, under its own privacy policy.
- Duffel and the airlines or other suppliers fulfil flight bookings. They receive your traveler details so the ticket can be issued.
- Anthropic provides the AI model that powers the concierge; your chat messages are sent to it to generate replies.
- Cloudflare and our hosting provider run the website and our servers.
- Travel partners (for example Kiwi.com, Klook, Tiqets, GetYourGuide, Viator, Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo, Trip.com, SafetyWing, RateHawk, Discover Cars, Airalo and others listed on our site). When you click a partner link or use a partner search tool, you leave our site or use the partner's tool, and the partner handles your information under its own privacy policy.
- Ticketmaster supplies the live event listings in our “What’s on” section. When you choose a city, our own events service (which runs on Cloudflare) asks Ticketmaster for upcoming events in that city. The request contains only the city, country and event type you picked, never your name or account details, and we keep the results for up to ten minutes. Event pictures load from Ticketmaster’s servers, so Ticketmaster may see your IP address and browser details when they load, and this happens only if you allow partner tools. If you buy tickets, you do so on Ticketmaster under its own privacy policy.
- Viator supplies the live tour listings (photo, rating and “from” price) we show on our city pages, in the Things to do section and in the chat. Our own tours service (which runs on Cloudflare) asks Viator for the top-rated tours in the city being shown. The request contains only that city, never your name, email or chat messages, and we keep the results for up to one hour. Tour pictures load from Viator’s image servers (operated with Tripadvisor), so they may see your IP address and browser details when the pictures load, and this happens only if you allow partner tools. If you book a tour, you do so on Viator under its own privacy policy.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Passport and other sensitive travel documents
Passport details are used only to complete the booking you requested. We delete passport numbers from our systems after the booking attempt is finished. Orders that are started but never paid for are removed automatically after about one day.
5. Accounts and saved trips
Signing in is optional. When you are signed in, trips you plan with the concierge are saved to your account so you can return to them on any device. You can remove any saved trip, sign out, or delete your account and all saved trips at any time from the account menu on our site, or by emailing support@voyaggora.com. Deleting your account removes your profile, sign-in sessions and saved trips from our systems. Bookings and payment records may be kept where we are required to by law.
6. Cookies and partner tracking
Our site and the partner links and tools on it (including affiliate networks such as Travelpayouts and Awin) may use cookies or similar technologies to make features work, measure clicks and credit referrals. When you first visit, we show a cookie notice where you can choose Accept all or Essential only. If you choose Essential only, the partner tools that set cookies (such as flight and tour search boxes) are not loaded. If you are visiting from Europe, those tools load only after you accept. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer of our site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work as intended if you do. See our Affiliate Disclosure for how partner links work.
7. How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, to resolve disputes, or as required by law (for example, payment and tax records). Optional concierge chat records (section 1) are deleted automatically 12 months after the conversation, or sooner on request. We keep your newsletter details while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep only your email address and the date you unsubscribed, so that we never email you again, and we delete even that on request.
8. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to legal record-keeping requirements. Depending on where you live (for example California and other U.S. states, or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data (we do not sell it) and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email support@voyaggora.com. We may need to verify your identity first. To have a saved concierge chat deleted, quote the reference code the chat showed you.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections and using Stripe for payments. No online service can be perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
Our service is intended for adults. If you book travel for a child, you must be the parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
11. International use
We operate from the United States, and your information may be processed there and in other countries where our providers operate.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
